Today, many Christians are avidly into their New Year’s resolution to read the Bible more often. The question I wrestle with is, “How are we reading the Bible?” A teaching I discovered this past year that has given me INSIGHT into this question is:.

One of the most profound authors I discovered this past year is Bernard Lonergan. Dr. Lonergan was a Catholic philosopher who studied cognitional theory.  Basically, he figured out how humans think. One of his most well known books is entitled “Insight: A Study of Human Understanding.”
