Check out The New New Anti-Semitism: Confronting Anti-Christian Bigotry at Evangelical Outpost
Evangelical Outpost says "The time has come, though, to say enough is enough. Several decades ago anti-Catholicism became the new anti-Semitism among "intellectuals." But now the hatred and disdain has broadened to include all conservative, orthodox Christians. This is the “new” new-anti-Semitism."
My last post on the MSM framing of faith at work as Religious Coercion is an example of the new new Anti-Semitism. If you do a Technocrati search or a Blog Pulse search on Air Force Academy and Religious Bias you will get a host of hits that prove Evangelical Outpost's point. I think this is going to get a lot more ugly as more and more Christians start being open about "who they are" at work.
We need civil discourse not civil war. One ought to be able to discuss rationally who one is with others on the job site. If AU or ACLU or People for The American Way have their way, Christians will be silenced at work.
There is a way of sharing one's faith at work in a respectful and appropriate manner. It starts with demonstration before words. Christians need to earn the right to be heard through work excellence, a right attitude to the job and a commitment to love and serve those they work with. Proving the gospel by demonstrating it, earns you the right to proclaim it because you are essentially telling others who you are and what moves you.
