Mike, I like the way you think. I often experience this perspective.... though probably stated in different terms. I sometimes think of it as an "institutional" perspective but that is probably too negative a label. Those of us who labor in the "formal" church vineyards do tend to lose the perspective of the wider world..... probably something we all do in a way, a limit of our imaginations perhaps.
